Reunion Momentum Increasing Daily
The list of people joining our All Graduating classes of the 70s reunion page is amazing.
As Sarah said, the one thing the binds us together is the sense that State College is and was our home.
I am looking forward to seeing old friends and neighbors from the old neighborhood. For me it was Overlook Heights and Park Forest. Many great memories of hanging out at the Park Forest pool, sleepouts (but who slept) and just being teenagers.
Of course we can’t forget the trips to Playland, Campus Casino and Hi-Way Pizza! the reunion is going to be a great way to reconnect and relive those memories and make more at the same time.

Reconnecting with Friends – All Classes of the ’70s
It is exciting to see how many people have joined the All Classes of the 70’s Reunion page. It always brightens up my day by finding someone new that I had lost touch with for so many years.
Many of us have lived elsewhere over the years and others have remained here in State College but the thing that binds us all is the sense that State College was (and still is for some) home.
It’s been great to see so many people join in with comments or pictures of the way we grew up here. I don’t think many of us at the time realized how lucky we were.
The chance to reconnect is why I am hoping all of you are also checking the www.statehigh.net webpage to keep up with any new developments for the reunion being held August 10-12, 2012.

Planning in progress for the All Classes of the ’70s Reunion
We now have representatives on the planning committee from each class of the ’70s. At our last planning meeting we had 3 reps just for the class of 72, my personal favorite!
It’s been great for me to get reacquainted with old friends and make new friends just being on the planning committee, so I’m really looking forward to the big event this August.
Make plans now to join all of us and have a great time together.

You CAN go home again!
It’s been said you can’t go home again! Eh, what do they know?
We’re hoping as many of you as can from the graduating classes of the 1970’s will join us on August 11, 2012 to reunite and enjoy an evening of reminiscing and making some new memories.
We are working hard to make it a fun evening along with other events over the weekend all still in the planning stages.

Since joining FB I’ve made more friends from high school than I had when I was in high school.
It’s been great to renew old frienships and make new friends online, but it will be so much better to see them all in person at the all 70’s class reunion this Summer ! I Want to see you all there.

High School Event Planning Meeting – Saturday March 24, 2012
Anyone interested in helping to plan Saturday, Aug. 11 activities centered at State College Area High School can gather Saturday, March 24, 2012 at noon, in the Cafe at Wegman’s.
Tours of the high school, music programming, and area tour opportunities will be discussed.
We would love to have some band members from the Munich gang with us that day as well, so we can talk about how we honor those people, and others, as part of the daytime programming for the All Classes of the ’70s reunion weekend.
